Zatopek & Fitzgerald is a collaboration between Jennifer Wagner and Nico Schweizer.

Jennifer and Nico set up their design studio in 2005 after moving from Manhattan, New York to Zürich, Switzerland.

Jennifer Wagner (*1968) was born in Manhattan and raised in NJ. She studied graphic design at Philadelphia College of Art (University of the Arts) and The Typography Workshop, London. After twelve years working in New York she now calls Zürich home.

Before founding Z+F she served as senior art director on Martha Stewart Baby and Martha Stewart Kids where during her tenure both magazines were nominated for Magazine of the Year by the Society of Publication Designers (SPD). She served as art director of Callaway Editions and previous years include work at design studios Two Twelve Associates and Pentagram.

Jennifer's work has been recognized by the Society for Publication Designers (SPD), the Type Directors Club, the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) and the Art Directors Club, the latter of which featured her work in its Young Guns III exhibition.

Nico Schweizer (*1969) attended Art Center School of Design and SVA (School of Visual Arts, New York), followed by internships, collaborations and freelance work for amongst others, Jonathan Hoefler, Cornel Windlin and J. Abbott Miller. He went on to work for Hugo Boss and then became Creative Director for I.D. magazine.

Nico Schweizer has lectured from 2000 to 2003 at Cooper Union School of Design, New York.
